A little leftover sewing project

These blocks are from a really old quilt I made years ago. As I have been cleaning and re-organizing my sewing room I came across them. I just couldn't get rid of them so putting them together to create a random little quilt wall-hanging. I have just two solid black blocks left over now from that set. Perfect.

Now I just need to sew all the blocks together and get it quilted!!

I haven't been doing much sewing lately. So many other projects and activities with church, and the garden, and the family, and friends. Never a dull moment and I will never ever say that I am bored.

😀😀😀

Take care my friends

  1. How lovely! It's great that you had enough leftover blocks to make a quilt. Wow. I'm the one who has two or six leftover blocks, so not enough to make anything with. I guess someday I'll need to make a kitchen sink quilt, and it will surely be a crazy mess of shapes and colors! It's nice that you seem to be enjoying retirement to the full. Staying busy is easy, isn't it? I've found that I cherish times when I'm able to stay at home!

    1. Hi Linda!! Yes, it is really easy to stay busy and I also love staying home. So many things to do and now that summer is finally beginning to show itself, the garden is begging for my time!!
