So I finally finished this little quilt!!! WHEW!! I started it sometime in 2012 when I was participating in SewCalGal's 2012 Free Motion Quilting Challenge.
The orange yellow starts are from a computer software program and are printed on fabric. Someone had given me printable fabric and it was horrible!!! I will be throwing out any remaining. No flexibility, very stiff and awful!! So I have a few wrinklies here and there in the pebbling.
I truly thought I was going to implode with all those small pebbles. What on earth was I thinking!!??
But, it is done and ready to hang and now on to the next project that I also started during 2012.
Did I tell you that I stopped counting my unfinished projects when I reached 31? Seriously!!!!
Happy Quilting
Take Care
Until we meet again!

Oh, and a little cuteness to finish the post!!!!!
It sounds like it was a challenge to finish this but it has turned out so beautiful - looks like it was worth perservering! Love the cuteness pic at the end :-) I haven't tried countng my unfinished projects....!
ReplyDeleteThank You Raewyn,it was indeed a challenge, but done, so nice!!. It is a little embarrassing to admit to that many unfinished projects!! Oh well, no boredom in my home :^) Have a lovely weekend and thanks for the visit!!
DeleteJust stopping by to see what kind of mischief you're up to. Love this little quilt! I have been doing some mini quilts, too. We should compare notes. And I keep my quilting "in progress" and "completed" details in Excel.
ReplyDeleteI started a list too with priority marked, but haven't stuck completely to that!! Then I get mending and alterations from family friends and co-workers. That makes it difficult. Not many people sewing out there!!! Thanks for the visit and have a great weekend!!!
DeleteI remember that challenge, it's hanging on my sewing room wall. Congratulations on a great finish!
ReplyDeleteThank you Pat!! So nice to have it finished and now on to the next one from 2012. I have several that I did not completely finish, just got the part I needed done for the challenge. One day they shall all be completed!!! :^) Thanks for the visit and enjoy the weekend!!!
DeleteThis quilt is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYour machine quilting skills inspire and totally amaze me!
Love that picture of you and your beautiful little "sweetness".
Thank you Doreen :^), although I really was frustrated with all those time pebbles, I know it was good hand-eye coordination practice, so not all bad!! Just so time consuming.
DeleteOur little grand is a sweetie, like all little girls, so fun.
Have a wonderful weekend and thanks so much for the visit!!
