| This is me in town yesterday. We went for doughnuts and I decided to pop in to an antique store. And there was this adorable hand pieced little donkey. My Grandpa Russ collected donkeys, so, of course, I brought him home!! |

Great projects. Thanks for sharing. My favorite quilting tool are my Karen Kay Buckley scissors. Nice sharp tip, cut like a dream!

ReplyDeleteYour fish quilt top is gorgeous, I know it will look amazing once you quilt it! I am always in awe of the intricate designs you create with your machine quilting skills.
TIP: I always take a picture of my finished blocks laid out on the floor in the order they will be stitched into my quilt before I sew it all together. This way I have a reference if my blocks get shuffled or I've sewn out of sequence.
Thank you Doreen!! Great idea to take a photo of the blocks in order. Sometimes I have noticed you can see by the photo that things need to be shifted about. Great tip!!!

DeleteMy favorite tools are the Quilter's Slidelock tools. I eliminated my UFO's by making myself complete 2 UFO's before I start a new project. Great find with the donkey topper, especially since it has generated fond memories for you. Would love to see it when you finish it.
