I am prepping some hand applique for an upcoming camping trip. I have had this pattern for many years and decided it was time to jump in. I thought I had the fabrics for it, two collections, but they are for another quilt from Bunny Hill!!!! SOOOOOOO, I had to pick fabric from my stash which was actually a lot of fun. All the fabrics are chosen and I am halfway through the cutting for the background blocks!! This quilt is so darn cute!!!

Oh my yes... it's always important to have handwork when traveling, or camping, as you will do. I completely understand that! Glad you could pull out something new that you've wanted to make for a long time. I have a few of those on my list too. Have a great trip!
ReplyDeleteThank you!!! It will be fun. Having the trailer makes it nice, a bed, a shower, although they have showers there for the campers. They even have a restaurant if you don't want to cook. We all bring far too much food, but then there is always plenty to share. And an amazing view of the lake. Short drive to the ocean if you want to go there.
