I had some time today and a few days ago to work on blocks. I've been getting the fusible interfacing on and getting the blocks trimmed. Then sewing on the gold borders. I think I may have enough blocks but still have two more to add in to this group.
This week I think I heard my husband talking about going fishing with his friend Tom. Fingers crossed they do for at least half a day. That would give me time to get all the blocks ready to piece together. And maybe get the backing pieced. Only 9 days to get this quilt done. If I do not complete it before Christmas, I will wrap it up in whatever state it is in and give it to him. Then finish afterwards. I cannot stress over this because there are so many things to be doing right now!!! I'll update again at the end of the week.

Well that looks like a great gift for your hubs, knowing that you two ride motorcycles. (That's rights, isn't it?) It's tough to keep a creative project secret when so much time at home is needed for working on it. Sounds like you are in the throes of planning to spend Christmas with your family. I hope its a wonderful time for all of you... whether the t-shirt quilt is finished or not.
