Yes indeed, I am going to attempt a full size throw quilt before Christmas in secret for my husband!!! I have many tshirts cut up already so it is just a matter of trimming them, fusing the interfacing to the back, adding borders. You know, all the normal stuff. But...... working on it in secret. I do not want him to know that I am making him a quilt.
I have five blocks trimmed and fused. I also picked out and cut fabric to trim each block with. Once I decide the layout I will use black fabric to combine them with. Then I will find a nice cozy flannel for the back.
The fusible intersfacing I am using is Pelon SK135 sheer knit. I really like this interfacing and it still allows the tshirt to drape nicely.
He has a meeting on Thursday and Friday evening this week so I am hoping to get all the blocks done and start the assembly process.
Wish me luck as I will need a lot of it!!! hahahahahahahahahahahahaha
