Our Guild, the
Santiam Scrappers, is having a quilt challenge. The theme, or challenge begins with the polka dot fabric. Each month we will pick out of the bag, two techniques. You can one or both. The first two were fussy cut applique and put words in. So I chose the words with the black fabric and decided to do New York Beauty blocks because I have never done one and have always wanted to. Good enough for me!!!
They actually went together quite easily!! YAY!!
I have two more to make and will not put them together until I get more "surprise" directions. This is going to be a very bright quilt. I am looking forward to the fun!!! The challenge will go on for 6 months, so who knows what the end result will be!!

I love your NY Beauty! I have the fabric to make one and a friend to make one with. I just need to finish some projects so I can start it.
