Sew Sweet-a purse for my Grand~daughter

I made the cutest little purse for my little grand-daughter Hayden and gave it to her yesterday!! She loves it which makes me so happy!!!



Trying to get her to pose for me was pretty much impossible!!! Too many things to see in Nana's backyard!!!

I searched for a purse pattern and found it here!! The Pattern is by Stitched by Crystal. It was so easy to make, her directions are awesome!!! Thank-you Crystal!!!!

So here is how I put this little purse together. I wanted it to be glitzy, so I used all leftover satiny fabrics and fabrics that I have either found in yard sales or were given to me.
This is all the fabric I had for the body, and I love it, so I had to make it work.

Seriously, the instructions were so easy to follow and the purse went
together beautifully!!!


I had a very small piece of the purple sequin fabric so put
it in the front. Just that little bit of flash for my girl!!
The purse is also lined!! Perfection!!!

If you have a little girl in your life and she needs a purse, this is a wonderful one to make for her!! And as you know, a girl can never have too many purses!!!

    such a cutie your granddaughter and can see she love her bag, must check out the pattern . All little girls love bags and we grow up usually still loving bags! a lady can never have too m

      Thank you Margaret!! She is a sweety and I agree, love those purses!!! I am going to design one for me to use when we are on my husbands motorcycle, I need many pockets inside so I can find things!!!

      Thank you Maartje!! She is a pro with the purse, so funny!! I need to find her some play/pretend makeup to put in the purse. She loves to watch mommy put her make up on and loves her nails painted!!! Funny sweet girl!! Take Care and have a great week!!!

      Thank you!! She is a sweety and loves her little purse. I have been a little nervous about making purses/bags/totes, but this one went together so easily I think more are in my future!!!
