I decided to do a very easy and quick table runner for our coffee table
I had a lot of 5" squares already cut for coasters. The pattern for the coasters is so easy and they work great to protect the furniture. I wanted bright happy ones so had cut all this fabric.
Then I thought it would be a great idea to have a matching table runner, so I got to work.
I did a very simple straight stitch about 1/4" from all the seams and used a wool batting.
Putting the binding on was tricky with those corners but I got them to work.
I am very pleased with this, now back to quilting my little trailer quilt below, almost done with it.
HAPPY QUILTING!!!

Nice work, Martha! I love that you coordinated your coasters and table runner... and apparently enjoy playing cribbage too. :-) Hubs plays cribbage every week, and tried to teach me. Ugh, I'm not a good card-player, nor quick with math. In any case, your table looks very coordinated. Good job on the binding too.

DeleteHi Linda!! Thanks for visiting, always happy to see you pop in :^) We do play cribbage although my husband helps me count my points when I miss some. It is fun. We usually play best out of 3 and he wins most of the times, but at times, I get some good hands!!!
DeleteI am very pleased with the little table runner, a quick project and finished which I needed something to actually complete. Back to the unfinished projects which are many!!
