I've been watching a lot of YouTube videos and trying to follow along on my own projects. So far, 4 little bags done. The denim with the mint is my 4th little bag and so far more of what I wanted to make.
I am hoping to find the perfect size to put markers in for kids.
The next one will be made from Christmas fabric and will hopefully be done in time to donate to my Church's Christmas Bazaar.
It's so strange to me that my bags turn out different than the YouTube video ones. There isn't any oral instructions, just music and the sizes written above the video and those are usually in cm. That could be part of the problem. They make it look SO EASY!!! And then I wonder why I am having so many issues. Oh well, I will keep trying and eventually I will come up with the perfect size that I can see in my mind.
Maybe, once I do that, I can make some little quilted ones too!!!???

Well they're all very cute, Martha, even if the sizes aren't uniform. Nice idea to make a Christmas one for your bazaar. I've watched those videos too, and sometimes wish I could just print a PDF of what they're showing. I always mute the music.
ReplyDeleteI would also love to print out the directions but understand why there's only music as they most like don't speak English. I admire their sewing skills and those extremely long sharp scissors hahahahaha. I recently noticed some triangular shaped pencil cases and now NEED to figure those out, while my pile of unfinished quilts glare at me!!!
