"My Favorite Jeans" is done

I finished quilting my little "denim" quilt and have it hanging in the new to us family room. This was my craft/sewing/quilting room and I decided that I really wanted a formal, roomy, dining room.
So I switched rooms.
My sewing room was the grandkids room, then a sitting room. It isn't roomy but I am making it work!

At the far end of the dining room is our family room area. I have games in the old cabinet and a comfy futon that turns into a full size bed when folded down.
My husband bought me the little fake wood stove that is actually a heater which is perfect for warming up the space.

The new dining/family room!!
I LOVE having space for the family and friends to gather and eat!!!

😊

Take care and thanks for the visit!!!

  1. Such a nice open space you have there, and I love the idea of a fireplace that's a heater! I'm feeling envy at the moment because we woke to 32F this morning in Central Florida. We haven't turned on our heat because it seems sort of ridiculous when it's supposed to be 80F on Wednesday! So I'm shivering in my sewing room, with no means to warm up. Turn on the iron?! Ha, ha. Your denim wall hanging turned out so well, and I'm happy you found a place to hang and admire it. Looking good!

    1. Thank You Linda!! WOWZA, 32 degrees in Florida, that is really cold!!! I would have my heater on, I am not happy when I am shivering! hahahaha I am pleased with my little quilt, and soon it will be hanging in one of the medical offices here. I have one more to finish quilting and then I can change out all the quilts. This office has about 24 of my quilts hanging so it is quite a job to replace them all.

  2. The room looks very nice! I have a similar heater/fireplace, they are nice. Hopefully you have enough room for everything!

    1. Thank you Cat. I did have to give away some of my larger furniture, just no room in the new space. Fabric is squished a bit but it is working out OK. Many of my unfinished projects are in bins in the dining room, but they aren't noticeable really since they are hidden in those fabric cubbies.
