Leftovers

 




I made this from leftover from another large quilt!! I love the brightness. I auditioned several fabrics for the binding and came up with this blue one below.


I sewed it on using my walking foot and it is now ready for some hand-sewing!!!

    Just lovely, Martha! I love all the bright colors, and the randomness of your design is perfect. By "hand sewing" do you mean adding binding? Or are you planning to add some hand quilting? It would be a fun to add big stitch hand quilting.

      Hi Linda!! I meant hand sewing the binding to the back of the quilt. Big hand quilting would be awesome but it would take me ages to finish!!
      Sorry for the delay in responding. We were on a 14 day road trip. Lots of driving!!! We stayed in Phoenix for 5 nights then to Prescott for 2 nights. Also spent a total of 4 nights coming and going in Manteca California.
      It is so nice to be home but it was fun visiting with family!!
