This is a cute one, and you've enhanced it beautifully with painted words, and personalization - Bailey. I remember ruining a printer when trying to send through freezer paper adhered to muslin. One attempt was enough, wrapping muslin threads around the printer roll. I've been a printable fabric-user ever since, my favorite brand being EQ Printables. Have fun finishing this quilt!FlourishingPalmshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13191140553844000267noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1079730243144459482.post-9252250070848559152024-01-27T13:40:11.675-08:002024-01-27T13:40:11.675-08:00Thank you Cat!! I would have my heater on, I am not happy when I am shivering! hahahaha I am pleased with my little quilt, and soon it will be hanging in one of the medical offices here. I have one more to finish quilting and then I can change out all the quilts. This office has about 24 of my quilts hanging so it is quite a job to replace them all.Marthahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06711094854123479172noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1079730243144459482.post-34737204339731418072024-01-21T12:45:36.892-08:002024-01-21T12:45:36.892-08:00The room looks very nice! I'm feeling envy at the moment because we woke to 32F this morning in Central Florida. We haven't turned on our heat because it seems sort of ridiculous when it's supposed to be 80F on Wednesday! So I'm shivering in my sewing room, with no means to warm up. Turn on the iron?! Ha, ha. Your denim wall hanging turned out so well, and I'm happy you found a place to hang and admire it. Looking good!FlourishingPalmshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13191140553844000267noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1079730243144459482.post-55306805475646355852024-01-13T13:04:28.972-08:002024-01-13T13:04:28.972-08:00Thank you Linda. It is very heavy and not suitable for a binding but it goes with the quilt so well so I am tackling it!!<br />The collars attach to the jacket with five buttons that are sewn onto the jacket. That can be so therapeutic - good for the soul - and I'm glad you've been able to tackle some want-to-finish projects. That small quilt is lovely. Is that a damask fabric you used for binding? Whatever it is, it sure suits the intricacy of the piece. Your quilting is stunning! And interchangable collars? I've never heard of such a thing. Are they snapped into place? Whatever... you've made them look professional. Yay for another basted quilt top! You're tackling your WIPs/UFOs just as I am these days. Hooray for us! Keep finishing!FlourishingPalmshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13191140553844000267noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1079730243144459482.post-79999050405816752562024-01-02T07:55:28.276-08:002024-01-02T07:55:28.276-08:00Virtual hugs.

It was such a shock to know that she had such a terrible disease and that she would not survive the treatments. Her quality of life would be gone. I know it was the right decision but it sure doesn't feel like it in my heart. God blessed us with these family creatures and I am forever grateful to him for picking me to be her human mom on earth. It's one of those events that can be more devastating than losing a family member. God designed dogs to love us in spite of our many faults, and to forgive our mistakes. Those amenable traits make losing a dog extemely difficult. I understand your pain and sympathize. Though things get messy, I can pretty much find everything, so that's the point, right? No contest when it comes to quilt tops to finish! I have four large quilts awaiting quilting. I plan to tackle each, one by one, starting next week. So glad you're finishing that little quilt with the gorgeous quilting. You're really good at DMQ, and this will be a fantastic finish.
