Here is the finished quilt. I named it, "Off Kilter".
It turned out like I had hoped and is now off waiting to be hung in a local quilt show.

| And used Aurifil thread for the top and bobbin. |

| My main goal for the quilting was no marking and no rulers. |
 |
| All free-motion, free-hand. |
 |
| My lines are not perfectly straight. |
 |
| But I just kept reminding myself that I am not a machine. And I am not perfect. |
 |

Those rectangle stitches that you did are amazing on your quilt and your quilt is a piece of art. Not for cuddling, but for hanging on the wall and enjoying like a beautiful painting :)
ReplyDeleteThank You Connie!! It was fun to quilt but I am a little nervous about what the quilt show judges are going to say. I def did not worry about my stitch length on it!! Oh well, I am sure I will learn from their comments.

ReplyDeleteThank You Pat!! It was fun to quilt and actually pretty easy to do. Now to see it in the show next weekend!!! We are going on Saturday. I am a little nervous about it. The only time I have entered a quilt in a judging show was at the State Fair.

DeleteThat is awesome! I love off kilter things, but pictures hangin off kilter drive me crazy! I always have to straighten them. But this I quite like.
