My New York Beauty guild challenge using polka dot fabric

I am really loving this little quilt!! The challenge was to use the polka dot fabric in any way you choose. Then each month we will pick out two techniques to use-you can choose one or both. So the first month the techniques were "add words" and "fussy cut applique". I chose the words which is the black fabric.

So for this month the two techniques are, "polka dots" and "ruffles".

I am not going to tell you what I am adding in just yet. It will be a surprise!!!

For some odd reason, I cannot get my computer to download all my new photos!! Oh well. I really wanted to show you how I did the last two New York Beauty blocks.

Hmmmmmm......... Not today

      Thank you Margaret!! I didn't realize how long it had been. I have been so busy with trainings and meetings at work, and not enough time to quilt!!
      I am almost done with the trainings, two more short ones on Motivational Interviewing and I am hopefully done for awhile!
      I am teaching my first Freedom From Smoking class, started this week!! Very excited about that.
      But so glad to be back sewing!!!
